The Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms (MADA) and the Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) held a workshop for journalists on the right of access to information at Maan News Agency headquarters in Bethlehem, on Thursday 24 January 2012.
Land Research: Olive Trees were Victims of the Israeli Aggressions 2011 olive-picking season
It has never been foreseen that a tree might become a target for continuous hostility and brutality despite the fact that this particular tree has been a symbol of peace and prosperity through out the years. The olive picking season is considered a season of joy and delight; it is also a season were Israeli colonists are most active; they commit their crimes of theft, harassment, physical and verbal abuse, cutting down trees, uprooting trees, and even murder.

Rafiq Al-Darb association had a workshop on Thursday 19-5-2011. This workshop addressed parents of people with special needs and the trainer Mahran Al-Taweel from YMCA lectured the parents in this workshop and provide them with some strategies they should follow to deal with people with special needs in order to make them feel better about their selves, feel active in society and impact them positively. Members of Jemima organization and Health Work Committees participated in supporting our case.
