The Delegation of the European Commission in the occupied Palestinian territory is
seeking proposals for activities and initiatives that support human rights and
democracy under EIDHR II Country-Based Support Scheme Programme 2009 & 2010, mainly strengthening the role of civil society in promoting human rights, democratic reform, rule of law, rights of children and women, as well as promoting freedom of expression with particular emphasis on the media environment. The financial assistance is allocated from the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Right(EIDHR II-CBSS)- Programme 2009 & 2010 of the European Communities.
