World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most marginalized and poor communities of the world. World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking a:
Finance Officer
The successful candidate will:
-Prepare Head Office asset, collate asset list from field offices and conduct asset count and inventory
-Summarize all mobile and telephone related information for monthly cost center allocation purposes
-Record Jerusalem vouchers unto Sun System
-Review field offices payrolls and major payments
-Perform other duties as required by the Finance & IT Manager
Qualifications and Requirements:
-Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Accountancy
-Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounting, preferably with an (I)NGO
-Excellent English language skills (spoken and written)
-Knowledge of accounting packages i.e. Sun system and Vision is a plus
-Committed to achieving quality results and service
-Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
-Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining collaborative relationships
-Ability to think clearly, deeply, and broadly
-Autonomous, self-motivated, and demonstrating a high level of accountability
-Receptive to feedback and committed to learning for growth and development
-Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
-Willing to travel throughout the West Bank and Gaza
-Driver’s license for travel between Jerusalem and the West Bank preferred
-Integrity and strong identification with World Vision Core Values
-Position is based in Jerusalem
