The Young Women Christian Association of Ramallah is a women organization that works to support economic development for women, as well as promote women’s rights and access to services. The YWCA as a youth oriented organization also aims at creating youth leaders and support children in creative learning. The YWCA is seeking to recruit a qualified female candidate for the position of:
Executive Director

The candidate for the position will be located at the office of the YWCA Ramallah, and is expected to have the following qualifications:
-Be a resident of the Ramallah community and possesses in-depth understanding of the Ramallah community, the NGO circles and social networks.
-Minimum bachelors degree and preferably master’s degree in development or social studies, women studies, management of NGOs, education, public relations or related fields.
-Minimum of 8 years experience in project or NGO management, with minimum of 5 years experience in supervisory roles.
-Very strong communication, computer, and writing skills in English and Arabic
-Strong Leadership and supervision skills, and willingness to work within and lead a team
-Proven skills and experience in program formulation, fundraising and reporting
