QADER for Community Development is a non-profit organization based in Bethlehem. QADER is dedicated to promoting better well-being of disabled people based on social justice and human rights principles.
QADER is looking for highly motivated and proactive person to fulfill the following vacancy:
Job title: Social Worker
Location: Hebron/Dura
Duration: 8-10 months, might be renewable
The successful candidate is expected to:
1-Perform a learning attitude to adopt new methodologies in rehabilitation of severe disabled children.
2-Perform social skills and capacities to educate and train mothers of children.
3-Develop and implement social and awareness plan for children, mothers and the community.
4-Perform/simple financial management functions; including, accounts maintenance, planning & budgeting, financial reporting, and Internal controls.
5-Maintain contact and follow up with the organization main office in Bethlehem.
6-Provide administrative and logistic support to the center.
7-Provide good management over filing and archiving.
Qualifications & Competencies:
-B.A in Social Work.
-At least 1 year professional experience in related job preferable in NGO's context.
-Ability for 'team work and social character
-High organizational skills.
-Strong communication & writing skills in Arabic and English.
-Computer literacy, including Ms Office and Email.
