Enhancing of Environmental and Hygiene Conditions for Children in Schools and Kindergartens in Qibya Cluster

Implemented by the Palestinian Hydrology Group, the project aims to create a better water and sanitation hygiene environment at schools and kindergartens in 6 poor and marginalized villages in Area “C”,     located along the 1948 border and in villages West of Ramallah bordering the Separation Barrier. 

The project aims at promoting the importance of adapting a strong and an effective local water governance in the water sector in Palestine. Furthermore, the project will work on a rights-based approach in order to ensure equal and just allocation practices of water and sanitation services to Palestinian communities. The project will simultaneously work on gender mainstreaming within the water sector and will ensure a sustainable management of water and environmental resources.



Dalia Association is a Winner of the Arcus Global Social Justice Prize
Dalia Association has won the Kalamazoo Collage Global Prize for Collaborative Social Justice Leadership. Amongst 188 submissions from around the world our film was nominated as a finalist, and we were invited, along with14 other finalists, to Kalamazoo College in Michigan to present Dalia’s work. The film is 10 minutes long and follows the team at Dalia visiting various community projects across Palestine. Dalia film was nominated for Sima competition 2013
Dalia film about the system of Aid given to Palestine was nominated for Sima competition to raise international awareness about social justice and human rights through real and realistic stories. 267 films from individuals and associations applied for the competition. Dalia film was one of the 30 films nominated to win the award.
