At the Family Defense Association in Nablus, we stand as a beacon of hope for those affected by domestic violence. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower individuals, particularly women and children, by offering protection, support, and the tools they need to rebuild their lives. Through our free services, including a hotline, support groups, and economic empowerment programs, we provide a path to safety and self-reliance. We are committed to fighting for human rights, equality, and a violence-free society, one person at a time .
Join us in our mission to create a future where every individual is safe, valued, and
One of the society’s most notable achievements is the establishment of the “Safe House” in 1999 in the city of Nablus. This pioneering project in the Arab world is dedicated to protecting girls, women, and their children who have been subjected to violence, offering them a safe and supportive environment to rebuild their lives.
The society’s services are provided by a specialized female staff working in complete confidentiality. These services include receiving cases of abused women, offering psychological and social counseling, organizing awareness lectures and workshops, and conducting training courses for volunteers.
The organization seeks to empower communities and combat violence through education, awareness, and support. Its main goals include:
Empowering Vulnerable Groups: Supporting women, children, and the elderly through advocacy, rights protection, and psychosocial services.
