🌞 About Women of the Sun Association
Women of the Sun is a Palestinian grassroots non-profit organization founded in 2021 and based in Bethlehem. The organization is dedicated to advancing the political and economic empowerment of Palestinian women and girls across the West Bank. We focus on building a new generation of women leaders by providing skills, opportunities, and platforms for civic participation, advocacy, and entrepreneurship.
We believe that lasting change cannot happen without inclusive collaboration—therefore, we also work with men and boys as partners and allies to support women’s rights, challenge harmful norms, and promote gender equality within families and communities.
🌞 نبذة عن جمعية نساء الشمس
جمعية نساء الشمس هي منظمة فلسطينية قاعدية غير ربحية تأسست عام 2021 ومقرها في بيت لحم. تسعى الجمعية إلى تمكين النساء والفتيات الفلسطينيات سياسياً واقتصادياً في جميع أنحاء الضفة الغربية، من خلال بناء جيل جديد من القائدات عبر تطوير المهارات وتوفير الفرص وتعزيز المشاركة المدنية والمناصرة والريادة الاقتصادية.
نؤمن بأن التغيير الحقيقي لا يمكن أن يحدث دون التعاون الشامل، لذا نعمل أيضاً مع الرجال والفتيان كشركاء وحلفاء لدعم حقوق النساء، وتحدي المعايير الاجتماعية الضارة، وتعزيز المساواة بين الجنسين داخل الأسرة والمجتمع.
مجتمع فلسطيني ديمقراطي وعادل تُمنح فيه النساء والفتيات القوة لقيادة التغيير، والتأثير في صنع القرار، وتشكيل مستقبلهن الاقتصادي والسياسي

Offers training, mentoring, and startup support for women-owned businesses.

Youth and Girls Engagement Unit
Focuses on empowering girls aged 14–25 through civic education, activism, and creative expression.

Training and Capacity Building Department
Delivers workshops, mentorship, and resources to strengthen community leadership.
