The Welfare Association Consortium opens the Palestinian Handcraft Exhibition

The Welfare Association Consortium opened today, Sat. April 22, 2006 the Palestinian Handcraft Exhibition “Made it myself” in the Ecole Biblique in East Jerusalem. It will last there for 3 days, and then it will move to Ramallah for another 3 days.

16 NGOs are participating in the exhibition (11 from the West Bank, and 5 from Gaza strip)

The exhibition aims at showing capacities of NGOs, especially those working with special needs and marginalized women societies.

The exhibition contains olive oil products, handcrafts, embroidery, mosaic, herbs and spices, woven products, paintings, and traditional products.

This exhibition is coming as part of Ijada project, which aims at raising the capacities of the local NGOs, by depending in its own sources,
