The year 2008 could be considered as the most dangerous in the history of Ibdaa Cultural Center. There was huge impact on Ibdaa’s programs and activities after a series of violent attacks on the center. The prosperity and the progress of our center after the attacks can be partially attributed to the support of Dheisheh’s community leaders including national and social structures. In addition, the motivation of our staff is a significant factor for strengthening our center; their admirable work makes Ibdaa one of the pioneer centers in providing social, cultural, artistic, athletic, and educational services delivered to all the camp target groups without exception, in particular to the children and women.
